Rafael Correa

Rafael Esteban Correa is a Partner at Mouro Capital, a venture capital firm managing $400 million in assets that backs early to growth-stage startups in the financial services sector. In his current role, he focuses on fintech investments across Europe, North America, and Latin America while also supporting investor relations with Santander. Correa has been closely involved with the firm's strategic investments in several notable financial technology companies, including the Latin American platforms Creditas and Klar. Before transitioning into the venture capital industry, he began his professional career working directly in the CEO office at Santander UK. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and a Master of Science in Banking Management from the Universitat de València. Correa currently leverages his traditional banking background to identify and scale emerging financial technology platforms across international markets.
