Rahul Agarwal

Rahul Agarwal is the COO and Co-Founder of Medplum, an open-source healthcare IT platform based in San Francisco, California. Prior to launching the company, which participated in a Summer 2022 startup cohort and grew to approximately 12 employees, he spent a decade building machine learning systems and developer platforms. His previous technical and operational roles include serving as a Customer Impact Lead at Applied Intuition and working as an engineer on the machine learning team at Palantir. Agarwal holds both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Computer Science from Stanford University, as well as a Master of Business Administration from MIT Sloan. Alongside his primary venture, he recently joined Prog.AI in October 2024, while his core focus remains on scaling digital health operations and developing HIPAA-compliant, FHIR-native interoperability solutions.
