Raja Ghawi

Raja Ghawi is a Partner at Era Ventures, a venture capital firm operating out of Brooklyn, United States. He joined the investment firm at its inception in 2022 to drive transformational change across physical world industries. Previously, he served as the Investment Director at Suffolk Technologies, the corporate venture capital arm of Suffolk Construction, where he helped establish the initial fund. During his tenure there, he founded and led the firm's Boost accelerator program, which successfully graduated 30 early-stage technology companies. Earlier in his career, he worked as a strategy consultant at McKinsey & Company, including time within its artificial intelligence and machine learning division, QuantumBlack, after earning an AB in Bioengineering from Harvard University. His current investment focus centers on deploying venture capital into emerging technologies that modernize the architecture, engineering, and construction sectors.
