Rajashree 'Raji' Baskaran

Rajashree 'Raji' Baskaran is a Venture Partner at Social Impact Capital, the Founder and CEO of a stealth startup, and a Founding Partner at Superbloom Studios, based in Portland, Oregon. Prior to her current entrepreneurial ventures, she served as Chief Technology Officer at Scorched Ice from January 2020 to January 2023 and held engineering and leadership roles at Intel. Baskaran has been an Affiliate Professor at the University of Washington since August 2006 and holds a Ph.D. from UC Santa Barbara, alongside advanced degrees from Cornell University and IIT Madras. She also operates Manifolds Lab and serves as an active advisor for hardware and data organizations including Denvr Dataworks, Omnitron Sensors, and Silicon Catalyst. Her current focus centers on early-stage impact investments and the commercial development of sensor-enabled systems, machine learning applications, and semiconductor technologies.
