Rakhshita Dhar

Rakhshita Dhar is the Senior Director of Venture Investments Health at Leaps by Bayer, the corporate venture capital arm of the global pharmaceutical enterprise. Previously, she served as the Director of Business Development at Roche Pharmaceuticals, where she led strategic corporate collaborations with emerging biotechnology firms including Dyno Therapeutics and Rheos Biosciences. Prior to her tenure at Roche, Dhar spent several years at MassBio, where she was responsible for developing and managing a dedicated accelerator program for early-stage life science startups. In January 2022, she expanded her corporate governance responsibilities by being appointed to the board of directors at GRO Biosciences. Her academic background includes a master's degree in molecular biology from Georgetown University and an undergraduate degree in biochemistry from Mumbai University. Dhar's current focus centers on early-stage biotechnology ventures, pharmaceutical commercialization, and life sciences platform development.
