Ram Gupta

Ram Gupta is an Advisor at Altos Ventures, a venture capital firm managing over $8 billion in assets, and serves as Chairman of the Board for Aryaka Networks and Joveo, Inc. Previously, he was a Managing Partner at Nexus Venture Partners and held the position of President and Chief Executive Officer at Cast Iron Systems. His extensive executive background includes serving as Executive Vice President at PeopleSoft, Inc., alongside senior leadership roles at WebMD Health Corp., IBM, and SGI. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering from BITS Pilani and a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, as well as several United States patents. As an independent director and investor, Gupta currently focuses on guiding early-stage technology companies within the enterprise software and networking sectors.
