Rama Sekhar

Rama Sekhar is a Partner at Menlo Ventures, where he focuses on early-growth stage investments in enterprise technology. Before joining the firm, he spent fifteen years as an investor at Norwest Venture Partners and held enterprise investment roles at Comcast Ventures. Earlier in his career, Sekhar worked as a systems engineer and product manager at Cisco Systems, defining the strategy for billion-dollar router products like the CRS-1. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Rutgers University and a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School. His venture portfolio includes board and observer roles at Veza, which was acquired by ServiceNow, and Apigee, which was acquired by Google. Sekhar currently concentrates on companies generating between $3 million and $10 million in annual recurring revenue within the cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and cloud infrastructure sectors.
