Ramiro Berrelleza

Ramiro Berrelleza is the CEO and co-founder of Okteto, a cloud development platform provider based in San Francisco, California. Prior to establishing the Y Combinator-backed enterprise in 2018, he served as an Architect at Atlassian and held a position as a Software Engineer at ElasticBox. Earlier in his professional career, Berrelleza operated as a Software Engineer for Microsoft Azure, where he notably worked alongside Satya Nadella before Nadella assumed the chief executive role. Under his executive leadership, Okteto successfully secured a $15 million Series A funding round led by Two Sigma Ventures in February 2025. Following this capital injection, he oversaw the company's operational expansion, growing the workforce from ten to twenty-eight employees within a four-month period. His ongoing focus centers on advancing cloud-native infrastructure tooling and optimizing the developer experience for Kubernetes-based software teams.
