Ramnik Arora is a technology executive and investor who previously served as the Head of Product at FTX. Before joining the cryptocurrency exchange in October 2020, he worked as a quantitative trader at Goldman Sachs and as a blockchain researcher for the Libra project at Facebook. During his tenure under founder Sam Bankman-Fried, Arora managed investor relations and helped raise billions of dollars, including a $900 million funding round that valued the company at $18 billion. He also led evaluations for the proposed acquisitions of distressed digital asset firms BlockFi and Voyager Digital before FTX collapsed in late 2022. Arora holds advanced degrees in mathematics and computer science from the Indian Institute of Technology, New York University, and Stanford University. His professional background primarily centers on quantitative finance, cryptocurrency product development, and venture capital investments.
