Ramon Lamana

Ramon Lamana is the Founder of Okteto, a B2B cloud infrastructure company based in the San Francisco Bay Area. At Okteto, which participated in the Winter 2019 cohort and employs approximately 30 people, he drives corporate strategy, scales operations, and oversees product execution. Prior to founding his own startup, Lamana worked as a leader at Google, where he contributed to consumer products including Inbox by Gmail and YouTube. He also dedicated several years to improving developer experiences and building infrastructure tools during his tenures at Elasticbox and EyeOS, an early pioneer in browser-based workspace virtualization. Throughout his career, Lamana has maintained a consistent focus on bridging the gap between complex backend infrastructure and intuitive user experiences. His current work centers on advancing developer tools and building scalable cloud environments for modern engineering teams.
