Rana Al-Hallaq

Rana Al-Hallaq is a Partner and Head of Operations at Pfizer Ventures and Vice President of Worldwide Business Development at Pfizer, based in New York. She oversees venture fund management and strategic equity investments for the corporate venture arm, which operates with $1.6 billion in assets under management and a $900 million capital commitment. Her current portfolio responsibilities include managing investments in biotechnology companies such as Enara Bio, ReCode Therapeutics, and RefleXion Medical, alongside fund allocations in the Dementia Discovery Funds and Wellington Venture Investments Fund. Holding a PhD, she previously managed investments in Cortexyme and VectivBio, and currently serves as Vice Chair on the New York BIO Board of Directors.
