Rana Yared

Rana Yared is a General Partner at Balderton Capital based in London, United Kingdom, where she co-leads the firm's Growth Fund. Before joining Balderton in 2020, she spent 14 years at Goldman Sachs, ultimately serving as a Partner in the Principal Strategic Investments Group and GS Growth divisions across New York and London. In her current capacity, she directs capital into European growth-stage startups, recently leading a €160 million Series C round for Quantum Systems and a €70 million Series C round for Exein. She serves as an independent director on the public board of Tradeweb, having previously held board seats at Vestwell and Swapclear. Yared holds a BS from the Wharton School and an MSc from the London School of Economics. Her current investment focus centers on scaling enterprise technology, fintech, and defense platforms.
