Raphael Roettgen is the Founding Partner of E2MC Ventures and the Co-founder of space biotech startup Prometheus Life Technologies, operating primarily out of Northern Virginia. Through E2MC Ventures, he directs early-stage venture capital investments across the global space technology sector, managing a growing portfolio of more than 30 startups distributed across eight different countries. In addition to his investment activities, he co-founded the Orbital Edge and KickSky space accelerators and serves as a mentor for the space stream at Creative Destruction Lab. A CFA and FRM charterholder and the author of the space business book "To Infinity," Roettgen has previously lectured on space entrepreneurship and finance at the International Space University and EPFL. His current focus centers on advancing commercial space infrastructure, satellite communications, and in-space manufacturing through targeted early-stage capital allocation and ecosystem development.
