Rathnakar Samavedam

Rathnakar Samavedam is the Director of Investment at Hyderabad Angels and a Venture Partner at 3Lines, based in Hyderabad, India. With over 20 years of professional experience spanning corporate finance, strategy, and venture capital, he currently manages an investor network of more than 100 members. In this capacity, he oversees a diverse portfolio of over 43 early-stage companies, where more than fifty percent have successfully secured follow-on funding. Previously, Samavedam served as the Vice President of Finance at MapRecruit.ai from 2020 to 2021, and he has held various strategic financial and treasury management positions at prominent organizations including T-Hub, ICICI Bank, and Prolifics. He is a certified Chartered Accountant and an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore. His current focus centers on startup investing, financial forecasting, and providing virtual CFO services to scale emerging businesses.
