Ray Xi

Ray Xi is a Managing Director on the Double Impact team at Bain Capital, based in the Greater Philadelphia area. Since joining the impact investing initiative in 2017, he has focused on identifying investment opportunities and driving value creation for portfolio companies that deliver both financial returns and measurable social and environmental benefits. Prior to his current position, Xi served on Bain Capital's North America Private Equity team, where he evaluated and managed investments across the industrials, technology, and healthcare verticals. Before joining the firm, he began his financial career as an investment banker at Morgan Stanley and earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics and mathematics, graduating magna cum laude from Yale University. His professional background centers on executing private equity transactions and scaling businesses with a dual mandate of commercial growth and sustainable impact.
