Rebeca Hwang

Rebeca Hwang is the Managing Director and General Partner at Kalei Ventures and a General Partner at Rivet Ventures, based in San Francisco, United States. Previously, she co-founded and served as Chairman of YouNoodle, a startup competition platform that powered initiatives securing over $22 million in grants and prizes during the 2014 calendar year. Her investment portfolio spans more than 20 startups through Rivet Ventures, alongside angel investments in technology companies such as Matterport and Cue, which was later acquired by Apple. Hwang holds engineering degrees and completed doctoral work at both MIT and Stanford University, where she has also served as a Lecturer on Technology Entrepreneurship. Her current focus centers on early-stage venture capital investing in Latin American technology startups and women-led markets, alongside advancing global entrepreneurship education and regional ecosystem building.
