Rebecca Norlander is a Venture Partner at Illuminate Ventures based in Seattle, Washington. She began her 30-year technology career at Microsoft in 1991, where she spent nearly two decades advancing to roles including Windows XP development team leader, chief of staff to the chief software architect, and general manager of the advertising platform technology group. After leaving Microsoft in 2010, she founded Health 123, serving as CEO and CTO until its acquisition by Samepage Health in 2017, and later co-founded the AI-driven compliance startup Verific, Inc. Norlander, named to the 2018 Forbes America’s Top 50 Women in Tech list, holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Boston University and serves as a board member for iHeartMedia. Her current venture capital focus centers on funding seed and Series A B2B software, analytics, and cloud computing companies.
