Renana Ashkenazi is a Managing Partner at Grove Ventures based in Tel Aviv, Israel, where she oversees investments for an early-stage deep technology fund with $520 million in assets under management. Before entering venture capital, she served as a product and technical manager at Applied Materials and worked as an engineering research fellow at Northwestern University. Ashkenazi began her career as a technology officer and captain in the Israel Defense Forces' Unit 8200. She holds a master's degree in engineering from Northwestern University and a bachelor's degree from Tel Aviv University. In her current capacity, she directs capital toward Israeli startups and holds board positions with portfolio companies including Deepchecks, Teramount, Protai, and Ramon.Space.
