Renato Ramalho

Renato Ramalho is the Chief Executive Officer and Partner at KPTL Investimentos Ltda, based in São Paulo, Brazil. He assumed this leadership position following the December 2019 merger of A5 Capital Partners and Inseed Investimentos, which created KPTL as a prominent venture capital firm. Under his direction, the firm manages over R$1 billion in assets across a portfolio of more than 46 companies and oversees vehicles like the Criatec 3 fund. Ramalho recently guided the launch of three new funds totaling R$900 million to back early-stage, health technology, and advanced startups. He holds an undergraduate law degree from Universidade de São Paulo and a graduate degree from Escola de Administração de Empresas de São Paulo. His current focus centers on directing venture capital investments into diverse technology sectors, including agribusiness, life sciences, and financial services.
