Reshma Saujani is the Managing Partner of Girls Who Code Ventures and is based in New York City, New York, United States. She previously founded the nonprofit organization Girls Who Code in 2012, scaling its educational programs to reach over 500,000 students across more than 50,000 schools. In her current investing role, she manages approximately $25 million in assets across 20 portfolio companies and recently launched a $15 million second fund in 2024 to back female-founded technology startups. Before transitioning to venture capital and education, Saujani worked as a corporate attorney at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson and earned a Juris Doctor from Yale Law School. She currently serves on the boards of Salesforce and Codecademy, maintaining a professional focus on expanding gender equity within early-stage software, financial technology, and educational technology sectors.
