Reut Shema

Reut Shema is a Partner at aMoon and co-leader of aMoon Edge, the firm's public equity fund. Before joining the venture capital firm in May 2018, she served as Vice President of Business Development and scientific advisor at Greenfield Partners, a TPG growth platform. She previously spent over a decade conducting scientific research, completing a postdoctoral fellowship at the MIT Broad Institute and Harvard University, and earning a PhD from the Weizmann Institute. Transitioning from academia to investing, Shema has sourced and led life sciences deals, playing a key role in transactions involving Satellite Bio, Omada Health, and Ultima Genomics. During her academic career, she authored multiple publications, including two papers in Science. Her current focus centers on leveraging her neuroscience expertise to commercialize cutting-edge biotechnology and manage fundamental ownership in public equity markets.
