Ricardo Carvalho is a Managing Partner at COREangels, an international angel investment network, currently based in Lisbon, Portugal. Prior to his current investment role, he spent eight years operating as a Senior Product Manager at Microsoft, where he managed complex enterprise software deployments across 14 distinct European markets. He subsequently transitioned into the venture capital sector by joining Techstars as an Entrepreneur in Residence, directly mentoring over 40 early-stage technology startups during a three-year tenure. Carvalho holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Lisbon and has personally directed more than $15 million in seed capital into 22 separate portfolio companies since 2018. His current professional focus centers on identifying and scaling pre-seed software-as-a-service ventures while simultaneously expanding cross-border syndication strategies for European angel investors across multiple emerging technology sectors.
