Rich Wong

Rich Wong is a Partner at Accel based in the Bay Area, where he focuses on early and growth-stage technology investments. Since joining the venture capital firm in 2006, he has directed capital toward startups operating across the artificial intelligence, cloud software, enterprise, consumer, and media sectors. Before his tenure at Accel, Wong held corporate and operational roles at Openwave Systems and Covad Communications. His early professional career included strategic and analytical positions at Procter and Gamble and McKinsey and Company, following his graduation from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He has also contributed to the broader investment industry by serving on the Board of Directors for the National Venture Capital Association. Wong currently leverages his extensive operational background to identify and scale emerging enterprise, media, and consumer technology platforms across the global market.
