Richard Seewald

Richard Seewald is the Founder and Managing Partner at Evolution Equity Partners, a venture capital firm where he oversees global activities and strategic direction. Since establishing the firm in 2008, he has helped raise over $2 billion to fund companies across the cybersecurity, enterprise software, and data analytics sectors. Seewald serves on the board of directors for several prominent technology companies, including SecurityScorecard, Carbon Black, and AVG Technologies. Prior to Evolution, he was a Partner at Alpha Associates, where he managed a multibillion-dollar investment platform focused on software, media, and infrastructure. He holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where he sits on the global advisory board, alongside degrees from New York Law School and Pace University. His current focus remains on scaling high-growth cybersecurity enterprises and leading global investment strategies.
