Ricky Moezinia

Ricky Moezinia is an investor and fund manager at Leo Capital, an early-stage investment vehicle targeting emerging technology companies. He concurrently serves as an advisor for Sequoia Capital, sourcing investments through the firm's scout program. Previously, Moezinia worked as a software engineer at Meta's Novi division and as a quantitative engineer at Point72's algorithmic trading fund, Cubist. As an entrepreneur, he has founded two venture-backed startups, including a GPU-accelerated cloud platform and a stablecoin-based cross-border payments company, raising approximately $50 million in total venture funding. His early cryptocurrency experience includes building one of the second-ever Ethereum derivatives exchanges in 2015 and operating as a sole market maker capturing spreads up to ten percent on low-volume tokens.
