Riku Seppälä

Riku Seppälä is a General Partner and co-founder at Icebreaker.vc, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Helsinki, Finland. Under his leadership, the firm manages over €100 million in assets under management across more than 50 portfolio investments, recently closing its third fund at €75 million in March 2025. Prior to his venture capital career, he co-founded the enterprise software company Moveria, which was subsequently acquired by Ependion. An alumnus of the Aalto University School of Business and a frequent speaker at industry events like Slush and Arctic15, he recently directed a Q1 2026 investment into the fintech startup Enfuce and oversaw the successful portfolio exit of Thesis AI. His current professional focus centers on funding pre-seed and seed-stage B2B software, artificial intelligence, and climate technology startups operating throughout the broader Northern European market.
