Riley Finch

Riley Finch is an Investor at NextGen Venture Partners based in the San Francisco Bay Area. In his current capacity, he specializes in sourcing early-stage startup investments, conducting comprehensive due diligence, and leveraging the firm's network of venture partners to support portfolio companies. Prior to joining the firm, Finch served as an Investor at 1Sharpe Ventures and spent two years managing operations and platform initiatives for early-stage founders at Afore Capital. Before transitioning to the venture capital sector, he held strategic go-to-market positions at two prominent Toronto-based financial technology firms, Clearco and Wealthsimple. Outside of his professional career in finance, he previously competed internationally as a member of the Canadian National Sailing team. Drawing on his direct operating experience across these major fintech institutions, Finch currently focuses on identifying, funding, and scaling early-stage technology ventures.
