Ripley Carroll

Ripley Carroll is a Principal at Telescope Partners and a Venture Partner at Contrary Capital, based in the New York City metropolitan area. He assumed his current position at Telescope Partners in 2024, while maintaining his long-standing affiliation with Contrary Capital that originally began in 2016. Prior to these current roles, Carroll built his venture capital career at Stripes LLC, where he advanced to the position of Vice President before ultimately serving as a Principal at the firm. He received his undergraduate degree in business from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia. His institutional investment strategy primarily targets early and growth-stage opportunities across the software, healthcare, and internet sectors. Throughout his career, Carroll has focused on establishing long-term financial partnerships with entrepreneurs navigating the complexities of scaling technology and healthcare enterprises.
