Rob Chesnut

Rob Chesnut currently serves as an advisor to multiple technology platforms, including Airbnb, Upwork, Turo, and Poshmark. After graduating from Harvard Law School, he spent 14 years at the U.S. Justice Department, where he directed the major crimes unit and prosecuted CIA double agent Aldrich Ames. Chesnut subsequently joined eBay as its third attorney and rose to Senior Vice President of Trust and Safety, managing a 2,000-employee team that reduced reported fraud by 60 percent over four years. He later served as General Counsel at Chegg, guiding its 2013 initial public offering at a $4 billion valuation, before joining Airbnb as General Counsel and Chief Ethics Officer in 2016.
