Rob Das

Rob Das is a Venture Partner at SparkLabs Global Ventures based in Palo Alto, California. Prior to his transition into venture capital, he co-founded the enterprise data analytics company Splunk in January 2005, where he served as Chief Architect and Chief Technology Officer. His earlier technical career includes lead engineering and software development roles at prominent technology firms such as Sun Microsystems, Lotus, and Avolent. At SparkLabs Global Ventures, Das focuses on seed-stage investments ranging from $100,000 to $5 million across sectors including financial technology, property technology, and sustainable energy. He contributes to a specific fund with over 50 portfolio companies, operating within a broader SparkLabs Group network that encompasses more than 500 investments across six continents. Das currently leverages his extensive software architecture background to evaluate, fund, and support early-stage technology startups globally.
