Rob Rueckert

Rob Rueckert is a Partner at Sorenson Capital and the Managing Partner and co-founder of Sorenson Ventures. Before establishing the Sorenson Ventures practice in 2017, he spent fourteen years as a Managing Director at Intel Capital, where he directed investments in more than fifty technology companies globally. His early career included roles as a software engineer and data consultant, followed by earning an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BS from Brigham Young University. At Sorenson, he recently helped close a $150 million third fund in 2025 and serves on the board of directors for portfolio companies such as Visier. Drawing on his engineering background and status as a Kauffman Fellow, Rueckert currently focuses on early- and growth-stage technology investments across the B2B enterprise software and cybersecurity sectors.
