Robert Humen

Robert Humen is a Managing Partner at Long Journey Ventures based in San Francisco, California. He previously held investment roles at Initialized Capital and Bain Capital Ventures after earning a BSBA in Finance from the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School. At Long Journey Ventures, which manages over $100 million in assets, he focuses on seed and early-stage investments across enterprise software, artificial intelligence, fintech, and developer tools. His portfolio encompasses more than 20 companies, including technology startups such as Replit, Supabase, and Retool, and he recently led an $8 million seed round for CodeGenix in March 2026. Beyond capital allocation, he spoke on artificial intelligence infrastructure at TechCrunch Disrupt 2025 and maintains an active presence in the startup community.
