Robert Pittman is a media executive currently serving as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of iHeartMedia and as a Founding Member of the venture investment firm Pilot Group. He initially gained industry prominence for co-founding and programming MTV, eventually advancing to serve as the Chief Executive Officer of the broader MTV Networks. Pittman later held senior leadership positions as the Chief Operating Officer of both America Online and AOL Time Warner, where he directed AOL's subscriber growth from 6 million to over 30 million members.
