Robert Shepler

Robert Shepler is a Partner Emeritus at Telegraph Hill Partners based in San Francisco, California. He co-founded the healthcare-focused growth equity firm in 2001 and served as a Managing Director until transitioning to his current emeritus role in August 2020. During his tenure, he directed investments across the life sciences sector, serving on the boards of more than 10 portfolio companies and facilitating multiple successful strategic exits to major global healthcare corporations. Previously, he worked as a corporate finance officer at Merrill Lynch, where he managed over 200 mergers, acquisitions, and financing transactions. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Duke University and a Master of Business Administration from New York University. Shepler currently maintains an active governance presence in the biotechnology sector, serving as a director and holding 266,452 shares of Akoya Biosciences.
