Robert Tepper

Robert Tepper is a Partner and Co-Founder at Third Rock Ventures, based in Boston, Massachusetts. Since co-founding the venture capital firm in 2007, he has focused on portfolio company formation, scientific strategy, and evaluating new investments across the pre-seed to Series B stages within the biotechnology and digital health sectors. Previously, he served as President of Research and Development at Millennium Pharmaceuticals and co-founded the biopharmaceutical companies Cell Genesys and Abgenix. Tepper holds an MD from Harvard Medical School and an AB in Biochemistry from Princeton University, and he maintains adjunct faculty positions at both Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital. He currently serves on the board of directors for Casma Therapeutics. Today, Tepper applies over 30 years of experience as a physician-scientist to build and scale early-stage biotech research and development organizations.
