Roberto De Ponti

Roberto De Ponti is the Managing Director and General Partner at 3B Future Health Ventures, based in Monaco-Ville, Monaco. Before transitioning to venture capital, he served as Head of Corporate Business Development at Helsinn and held Senior Director positions at Pfizer, Pharmacia & Upjohn, and Boehringer Mannheim. In his current role, he directs early-stage seed and Series A equity investments ranging from $100,000 to $5 million per transaction across the pharmaceutical, oncology, and rare disease sectors. De Ponti actively guides portfolio companies as a board member for OncoResponse and Domain Therapeutics, while also holding observer seats at iOnctura and Epsilogen, alongside recent investments in Evotec. Holding a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and qualifying as an EU Qualified Person, he currently focuses on leveraging extensive pharmaceutical drug development and manufacturing expertise to identify and fund emerging therapeutic technologies.
