Roger Cawdette is the Co-Founder and CEO of Village Labs, a financial technology startup based in New York, United States. Founded in 2023 and backed by Y Combinator during its S24 batch, the company develops software designed to help American businesses transition to employee ownership structures through Employee Stock Ownership Plans. Previously, he co-founded and served as CEO of Finary, a social investing platform launched in 2020 for young retail investors. Under his leadership, Finary participated in Y Combinator's W21 batch and secured venture capital funding from Upfront Ventures and Dash Fund. Prior to his entrepreneurial career, he studied Technological and Social Innovation at Harvard University before leaving after his sophomore year to build software startups.
