Rohan Puranik

Rohan Puranik is a Partner at WestWave Capital based in San Francisco, California. In his current role, he focuses on pre-seed and seed-stage investments across deep technology sectors, including cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, robotics, and artificial intelligence. Before joining WestWave Capital, Puranik was the Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of MindSumo, a student career platform backed by Google Ventures that was eventually acquired by MBO Partners. He also spent nearly 10 years contributing to long-term strategy and mentoring early-stage founders at StartX, the startup accelerator affiliated with Stanford University. Puranik earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Stanford University in 2009 and held early engineering roles at startups such as Optumsoft. His professional background combines a decade of technical founder experience with active venture capital deployment in early-stage enterprise software and deep tech.
