ROHEET SHAH

Roheet Shah is the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of CarbonChain, a climate technology startup he has helped lead since October 2019. He initially began his professional career in the Middle East by launching and operating a housing fund in Damascus, Syria, until the regional civil war forced his evacuation. Following this early entrepreneurial venture, Shah transitioned into the management consulting sector by joining Boston Consulting Group. During his tenure there, he specialized in advising corporate clients on complex oil and gas projects. He subsequently shifted into the consumer technology sector, taking a management position at Amazon UK to oversee the company's regional smart home business operations. Drawing upon his extensive background in both fossil fuel consulting and consumer retail, Shah's current professional focus is entirely dedicated to advancing climate tech solutions and tracking industrial carbon footprints.
