Roman Novacek

Roman Novacek is a Partner at Presto Ventures based in Prague, Czech Republic. A CFA charterholder and former private equity analyst, he joined the firm in 2018 and was elevated to partner in 2021 after studying finance at Masaryk University and Juniata College in the United States. He helps manage over €100 million in assets across two funds, overseeing a portfolio of nearly 60 companies that includes enterprise software developers like CloudTalk. During 2023, Novacek facilitated 15 new investments from the firm's €30 million Fund II, backing regional financial and analytics startups such as CityPay.io, Getpin, and Blindspot Technologies.
