Ronald Jan Schuurs

Ronald Jan Schuurs is a Partner at the global early-stage venture capital firm Antler, based in the Netherlands. Before transitioning to venture capital, he held several C-level executive positions across the European technology sector, including serving as Chief Executive Officer of Delivery Hero in Germany and Chief Financial Officer at the telehealth company Zava. His earlier career includes roles as a strategy consultant at Booz & Co and an investment banker at ABN Amro, supported by academic degrees from INSEAD and Leiden University. In his current capacity, he directs pre-seed and seed investments ranging from €100,000 to €5 million into emerging technology startups, recently backing companies such as Literal Labs. Schuurs currently focuses on structuring company strategies and accelerating value creation for founders across diverse sectors including artificial intelligence, financial technology, climate technology, and software-as-a-service.
