Ronald Meersschaert

Ronald Meersschaert is the Managing Partner at DeepTechXL, an investment firm based in the Netherlands. He began his professional career as a certified public accountant at Deloitte, where he spent eight years developing his foundational financial expertise. Following his tenure in public accounting, Meersschaert transitioned into corporate leadership, holding senior finance positions at industrial companies including Watts Industries Europe, MoTip-Dupli Group, and Doorwin. He holds a master's degree in Business Economics from Tilburg University and has expanded his scope into private equity, serving as a Senior Advisor to Ramphastos Investments and acting as a board member for Novum Bank. With nearly two decades of experience in investment management and at least one known direct investment on AngelBacked, his current focus centers on deal sourcing, execution, and portfolio management within the private equity sector.
