Ronen Assia

Ronen Assia is currently a Managing Partner at Team8 Fintech, where he actively builds and invests in early-stage financial technology companies. Prior to joining Team8, he co-founded eToro in 2007 and served as the company's Chief Product Officer, overseeing both product development and engineering operations. During his executive tenure, he helped scale the social investing platform into a financial technology unicorn that serves more than 31 million users across over 100 countries globally. Assia transitioned to a non-executive director and board member role at eToro in January 2020, complementing his academic training which includes a Bachelor of Arts from the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design and a Master of Arts from the Royal College of Art in London. His two-decade career centers on merging industrial design with financial technology to create user-centric digital platforms.
