Ronnie Lott

Ronnie Lott is currently an investor at Bennu, a stage-agnostic venture capital firm, and is based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Before entering the venture capital industry, he built a prominent professional football career as a defensive back for the San Francisco 49ers, winning four Super Bowl championships. In 1999, he co-founded HRJ Capital alongside former teammate Harris Barton, eventually growing the firm's assets under management to approximately $2.4 billion before its acquisition by Capital Dynamics in 2009. He also established Lott Auto Ventures, managing multiple automotive dealerships, and has served in advisory capacities for institutions like the University of Southern California. His current firm, Bennu, participates in various funding stages, including a Series B investment round completed in August 2022. Lott leverages his extensive network and institutional investment experience to support emerging enterprises.
