Rosana Kapeller

Rosana Kapeller is an Investor at GV, where she previously served as the firm's first life sciences entrepreneur-in-residence starting in 2018. With over 25 years of experience in drug discovery, she previously served as the founding Chief Scientific Officer at Nimbus Therapeutics, leading computational drug design efforts that resulted in an ACC inhibitor acquired by Gilead. Prior to this, Kapeller was a co-founder and Vice President of Research at Aileron Therapeutics and spent 10 years advancing therapeutics at Millennium Pharmaceuticals. She holds a PhD from Tufts University and serves on the board of directors for Schrödinger and Cedilla Therapeutics, while also acting as an advisory board member for Harvard Business School. Her current focus centers on bridging scientific innovation with startup leadership to incubate companies like ROME Therapeutics and pioneer research into the dark genome.
