Ross Stern

Ross Stern is a Managing Director at Summit Partners in Boston, where he specializes in growth stage healthcare and life sciences investments. Since joining the firm in 2009, he has played a key role in 14 investments representing nearly $1.3 billion in invested capital across provider-led practice management, value-based care, and technology-driven healthcare services. He currently serves on the board of directors for several notable portfolio companies, including Fortis Life Sciences, Sound Physicians, and US Renal Care. Before his tenure at Summit Partners, he worked at the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation and in the healthcare investment banking group at Cowen and Company. Recognized as a two-time GrowthCap Top Healthcare Investor, he holds a bachelor's degree in economics and history from Bowdoin College and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
