Rubin Ritter is the Interim Chief Executive Officer of Kinnevik and an investor through his advisory firm Talberg, based in Berlin, Germany. He previously served as Co-CEO of Zalando from 2010 to 2021, where he scaled the e-commerce platform from an early-stage startup into a publicly traded company following its October 2014 IPO. Before joining Zalando, he worked as a Consultant and Senior Associate at McKinsey & Company between the years 2007 and 2010. Ritter holds a diploma from the WHU Otto Beisheim School of Management and earned his MBA from The University of Texas at Austin in 2006. After being elected to the Kinnevik Board of Directors in 2025, he assumed his current executive position in March 2026. His career focuses on strategic leadership, fashion technology, and venture investments across the European market.
