Russell Siegelman is a Lecturer at the Stanford Graduate School of Business and an active angel investor based in the Silicon Valley area. He previously spent 7 years at Microsoft, where he served as the first employee and Vice President of the Microsoft Network, launching the platform and scaling it to over 1 million paying members. Following his corporate tenure, Siegelman worked for 11 years as a venture capitalist at Kleiner Perkins and has personally invested in more than 50 technology startups. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from MIT and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard University, where he graduated as a Baker Scholar. His current professional focus centers on teaching graduate entrepreneurship courses, funding early-stage technology ventures, and supporting various non-profit organizations dedicated to global development and environmental conservation.
