Ruthi (Simha) Furman is a General Partner and Co-Founder at Viola Credit, a specialized venture lending fund based in Israel. She transitioned from the traditional banking sector to join the broader Viola Group in 2000, where she collaborated with prominent industry figures like Aharon Dovrat and Shlomo Dovrat to launch the country's first venture lending vehicle, originally known as Plenus. Under her direct leadership, the firm has successfully raised four distinct investment funds and deployed more than $600 million in debt financing to regional technology startups. Her structured investment strategy and risk management approach have contributed to over 20 portfolio company exits during her two decades at the firm. Holding a Master of Business Administration, Furman currently focuses on providing alternative capital solutions and venture debt to growth-stage high-tech enterprises across the Israeli market.
