Rutie Adar

Rutie Adar is a Tel Aviv, Israel-based venture capitalist and early-stage technology investor who focuses on scaling innovative businesses within the local startup ecosystem. She previously served as the Head of the Samsung Strategy and Innovation Center and directed regional investment activities for the Samsung Catalyst Fund, managing strategic venture allocations. Before her extensive tenure at Samsung Electronics, Adar spent over a decade holding various product leadership and engineering roles at prominent technology firms, including SanDisk and M-Systems. She also gained early industry experience working on semiconductor solutions at DSP Group. She developed her foundational technical expertise by earning both undergraduate and graduate degrees in electrical engineering from the Technion Israel Institute of Technology. Adar currently leverages her corporate background to provide hands-on support to founders navigating the early stages of deep technology and software development.
